I am looking to build my first OpenSolaris machine. This motherboard would meet my needs: http://www.gigabyte.us/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=3367 I like this board because it has SATA 6GBPs which may used for SSDs for L2ARC if I need that later. It also has 8 sata ports total, which would be perfect for my initial build as I need 8 initial ports (2 for mirror boot, 5 or 6 for a raidz2).
