I'm _guessing_ that it might be a problem, because google searches like 890gx site:opensolaris.org OR site:sun.com sb850 site:opensolaris.org OR site:sun.com turn up nothing - and if you go to the spec page for your board http://www.gigabyte.us/Products/Motherboard/Products_Spec.aspx?ClassValue=Motherboard&ProductID=3367&ProductName=GA-890GPA-UD3H those are the Northbridge and Southbridge components of the chipset of that board, which provide quite a lot of a board's functionality (and potential problems with whether it works). Searching around, I also saw http://www.overclockers.com/amd-sb850-southbridge-limited-supply/ which seems to be saying there's a shortage of some of those chips anyway. But that's just a guess...maybe you could try also asking in the device drivers - discuss forum/list. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list opensolaris-help@opensolaris.org
