When you say you ship some servers with the OS on a CF and 'following the above works quite well', do you mean you're using a 64GB CF or a 8-16GB CF?

We started with 8GB CF and then moved on to 16GB CF..... Both worked for Solaris or OpenSolaris installs but it was all Oracle/Sun hardware.


If I can get the 64GB CF to work then I'll all game, I just want to rule out the BIOS as the problem...
