Hi --

I'm trying to install the gani driver to support a
rtl8169 NIC. The current driver is rge. My understanding
is that the gani driver fixes a number of problems with
the rge driver support of the 8169 (slow connection and
disconnects or stalls).

I've followed the instructions on Masayuki Murayama
(excellent) web page and readme to install the driver.
In addition, I executed "rem_drv rge" to remove the
old driver.

When I run "modload obj/gani", I get an error saying
"can't load module: No such driver or address". There
is nothing in /var/adm/messages to say why.

"prtconf -v | grep 10ec" shows that the NIC is found
with value="pciex10ec,8168.1458.e000.2 ..." and does
not have a driver attached.

Any help would be appreciated.
