Is there any simple way to map UID's from different UNIX/Linux systems using NFS, to allow consistent file access? Unfortunately my UID is different on each system which causes file permission problems. I know a while back there used to be map_static feature which could be used to map UID's, but I can't find any info on the current state of things.
