I have installed Opensolaris on a tin and been seeing high cpu usage, server is not running anything yet cpu utilization is around 30-40%
I found that there is a bug: http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6818514 I followed the workaround in the article now my server does not boot! Workaround: Add the following line to /etc/system: [i]set cpupm_ti_gov_multiple=100[/i] I now need to take this entry out of the system file, as my server will not boot can somebody tell me how I can fix this, will I use the live cd and what steps if so. I am running 134 ans yes I will still have the CPU utilization issue however I need to get the box up...
