I have a new Dell E6510 notebook which I wanted to use with Opensolaris. I have
tried both 2009.06 and the latest 134. In both cases, the system will boot up
fine into the LiveCD environment. The driver utility only has an issue with the
wireless driver, which I dont care about.

So the install finishes fine. On reboot, I get the grub selection screen, but
once the boot starts, within about 1 second, the system will reboot. It will
repeat this indefinitely. I tried removing the splash screen option, but
whatever the error is goes by so fast I cant read it.

So far I have tried changing the SATA mode and reinstalling, disabling all
peripheral devices in BIOS, but same result. I can probably get somewhere or at
least understand the issue if I can get the messages on screen to stop long
enough to read before it reboots again. Is there a grub option that will let me
go line-by-line to see where the failure is during boot, similar to a Windows
debug mode boot sequence?
