My package manager has been broken for a while now. I tried to set repositories to /dev and to release databases, but every time I try to install a package it fails.
Below is a sample if I try to install any package. ---------------------------- Preparing... Gathering package information, please wait... Error: No version of backup/areca can be installed: pkg://opensolaris.org/backup/areca@7.1,5.11-0.134.0.2:20100528T230213Z: Suitable required dependency pkg:/SUNWcs@0.5.11,5.11-0.134.0.2 cannot be found ---------------------------------- Obviously this is the CoreSolaris and it must be installed for me to use it. However if I find that package in the package manager - I get the infor that it has not been installed! --------------------------- Name: SUNWcs Description: Core Solaris Installed: No Version Available: 0.5.11 (Build 5.11-0.134.0.2) Size: 25.19 MB Category: System/Core Publisher: opensolaris.org ----------------------------- How do I fix this problem? Is my "package database" out of sync? Can I re-initialize it somehow. My current repository is http://pkg.opensolaris.org and it is named opensolaris.org As I mentioned - I also tried /dev with the same result. I remember at some point that I had a problem with my gigabit network card and did switch to the dev repository to get the updates, then switched back to release, but I am sure I have installed packages since. Any suggestion are really appreciated. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list opensolaris-help@opensolaris.org
