Second Life, we require users of Third-Party Viewers ***and those who  
develop or distribute them*** (“Developers”) to comply with this  
Policy and the Second Life Terms of Service.

***If you are a Developer who distributes Third-Party Viewers to  
others***, you must also provide the following disclosures and  
functionality

You acknowledge and agree that we may require you to stop using ***or  
distributing*** a Third-Party Viewer for accessing Second Life

etc etc etc etc etc etc...

I'm not arguing that these are not, perhaps, reasonable requirements.

I am simply pointing out that they are NOT compatible with the GPL.
