It is not a hard concession to make and we have already made it. (As noted in the FAQ here: "...although you must provide your name and contact information to Linden Lab to be included in the Viewer Directory, you do not need to make that information publicly available in your listing page. You may elect to display only your third-party viewer's brand name in the Viewer Directory."
Unfortunately, at the moment, the "†" symbols on the TPV directory application page do not reflect this change but will very shortly.
