Hi all The current viewer-development source can be compiled against boost 1.42 but will crash when command line options are passed that are the prefix of another command line option. Aleric had fixed the that problem in Snowglobe (both, 1 and 2) at SNOW-626 <https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SNOW-626>.
The same fix still seems to work for viewer-development, so I've daggified the changeset and filed VWR-23459 <https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-23459> to track integration into viewer-development. (I didn't want to move SNOW-626, because it's a subtask of SNOW-623 No Boost 1.42 compatibility <https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SNOW-623> and the other subtasks of that don't apply to viewer-development.) http://bitbucket.org/boroondas/vwr-23459 Please review and test: * Does not change behavior for non-standalone * Does not change behavior for standalone with boost 1.41 or earlier. * Fixes the crashes for standalone with boost 1.42.
