That sounds familiar. I know this way from things like perl (eg. 3pm), a
thread lib (eg. 3thr) and some local stuff. To me, this way seems
favourable, also because this name space pollution (which occurs when no
categorization is done) should be prevented. This should not only be done
when cases occur which actually result in problems.
