From: Bill Rebey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Bill.Rebey> I'm getting a failed assertion ("thank you" to the
Bill.Rebey> programmer who was wise enough to put the way-underused
Bill.Rebey> assertion statement in his code) on Windows NT:
Bill.Rebey>
Bill.Rebey> md_rand.c, line #353 asserts that md_c[1] == md_count[1]
Bill.Rebey>
Bill.Rebey> Any ideas why it's failing?
I've an idea: if you look at that line, you'll see that it's
surrounded with a '#ifndef THREADS .. #endif'. If you get that
assertion abort, it means that your OpenSSL is not copmiled to support
threading. According to what I can see in Configure, this will
definitely happen when you configure for VC-WIN16, VC-W31-16,
VC-MSDOS or BC-16. How exactly did you configure and build? And
exactly which library do you link against?
Bill.Rebey> Also, has anyone gotten anywhere on the lh_retrieve() crash bug?
I haven't, and I have some trouble finding your mail about it (mew has
done something terribly wrong, I suspect).
Bill.Rebey> How 'bout the SSL_CTX_set_tmp_dh hanging bug?
Same answer there.
Bill.Rebey> Has anyone gotten around to fixing the "build without RSA
Bill.Rebey> problems".
Well, I tried that on Solaris, and had no problem at all. I'm not
sure if you said what platform you used to test.
