Hmm, something I could do would be to write a BIO filter that buffers
lines of data and makes sure they only get printed when a linefeed is
reached or when the BIO is free'd. This would only be used under VMS
for now, but could be useful in other cases as well (for example, has
anyone seen what happens when you do ERR_print_errors() with a logging
BIO :-)). The reason I would do it VMS-only for now is to make sure
no other platform (read: that I can't control myself) gets hit with
this.
