I've been working on porting C-Kermit to use Heimdal for Kerberos
5 support without a lot of luck.  It compiles but does not function
properly yet.  If you have time to help on that as well let me know.
C-Kermit will be modified to take advantage of the Kerberos 5 TLS
ciphers once it is integrated.
