drh> X509_NAME_print_ex() is its replacement. There are various options to
drh> x509 that can change the format for example: "-nameopt oneline"
drh> "-nameopt multiline". At some point one of these should be made the
drh> default and the old format only selectable with "-nameopt compat".
Does anyone mind if that point is now? Also, the old (slashes instead
of commas) is really the X.400 format, isn't it? It's been a long
time since I saw a message that had gone through a X.400 gateway, so I
may be wrong about that one. Therefore, I'd rather suggest "-nameopt old"
or "-nameopt x400".
