I'd like to make a question to the developers about the new ASN.1 code.
For some projects in which we are involved, we added new structures using
the old code.
Now I looked briefly at the new code in the snapshots and I realized
that many things are changing (with big improvements IMHO reading README.ASN1).
Moreover quoting from a message of Richard Levitte: "backward-compatibility
is low priority before version 1.0". So my question is: starting from
OpenSSL 0.9.7 will we have only the new ASN.1 code and the old code
will disappear ? Because in this case I think that we need to
understand and use the new code (if it's in place) ASAP
