"The distribution submitted for this validation was originally based on 0.9.7b, but in the three years this effort has taken that distribution has changed considerably. It is not currently available in one place for public review because we're still waiting on the CMVP review which is a closed process (the CMVP does not seek unsolicited input) and because it is of no value until the validation is granted.
Once the validation is granted (or abandoned if it comes to that) the OSSI and OpenSSL team will release all source code and documentation, and we'll have a lot more to say about our experiences with the validation process.
