You can definitely get a better price from SPYRUS for
an SSL toolkit (TLS-Gold or DeviceSSL) with BSAFE. One
caveat is that the commercial toolkits like TLS-Gold, SSL-C,
and DeviceSSL are priced for product and service businesses,
not for individuals doing custom web servers and the like.
You can easily get your hands on the Spyrus SSL developer
software for just $95; but if you want to go into production,
you need to purchase Spyrus' annual maintenance and support
package for $12,500 and sign their SSL distribution license
for a royalty of 2% of the revenues on your SSL-enabled
product or service.
