Hi Rob,

I can also add Climate as a separate Stackforge project which could get
benefits from querying a scheduler service for electing some compute-hosts
based on what we call a 'reservation request' [1]
By the way, you mentioned the original BP for Climate [2] in the etherpad,
which does let me thinking we are on the same page.

That said, I would really love joining the team for delivering the new
service, but unfortunately, I will only be able to commit myself on my
personal spare time.

Anyway, I'm following the discussion, whatever the outcome is.
