That could be done but we'd need to establish an agreed name so that Horizon or the CLIs, for example, could filter based on description. "Give me all VMs with Ansys in the description".
If we use properties, a consistent approach would be needed so the higher level tooling could rely on it (and hide the implementation details). Currently, I don't think Horizon lets you set properties for an image or a VM.
