I suspect there is a communication gap somewhere, but this is certainly not the case. Openstack Object Storage (swift) is not deprecated. Glance provides a bridge between nova and swift, but all three are important, active projects.
Sudhaker, I know that rpms exist for swift, but I don't know where they live.
