For those of us without that particular image, could you clarify which filesystem that is: btrfs or ext4? Also please clarify what you mean with "crashed" - if there were kernel errors, please open a Bugzilla and provide the exact serial or dmesg output. Was it not recoverable? No such issues on RPi3 with Tumbleweed and ext4 here.
