Probably, building armv6hl on native ARM hardware has gone wrong.

This is likely also the reason large parts of perl failed to build - it tries 
to load perl modules from /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.24.1/armv7l-linux-
thread-multi/

Is it possible it actually installed armv7hl packages instead of armv6hl?
