[EMAIL PROTECTED] : cat SuSE-release SUSE LINUX 10.0.42 (i586) OSS Beta3 VERSION = 10.0.42 [EMAIL PROTECTED] : grep KDE_USE_IPV6 sysconfig/windowmanager KDE_USE_IPV6="yes" Disableing IPv6 is for some people a very good idea. It really increases the speed of the system, wether this is under KDE, Gnome or elsewhere. The cause is most likely the provider you are using. I personally never saw any diference, however many people have seen a difference in speed. By disableing IPv6 for all of the machine and not just KDE, the problem is solved for people who use other things as well. houghi -- The world is coming to an end ...
