I'm glad to hear this :-)
I hope the search for alternatives will be done in the public - the
community has to use it [1], so you should involve us before any
decision is taken.

[1] I don't know about the SUSE internals, but I guess you don't need
to add a wishlist entry if you want a package or feature ;-)
