What about shipping nano (the pico clone) instead of joe as recommended? As
far as I understand, the inclusion of joe is to have a simpler alternative to
vim, so nano would make a lot more sense as it is simpler to use (basic
shortcuts are already displayed on the screen and key combinations only go as
far as two keys). Yet, the newest version supports highlighting and view
splitting.
Sorry if I start a text editors war, but the installation of joe by default
rather than nano is a griep I have since like Suse 7 and I would explode if I
didn't say something about it. :)
