I don't see the SMP on mine, and the system which I'm trying to install
it upon doesn't support SMP as yet (see below).

Probably looks remarkably similar to this[0]:

Not a low end system, but have successfully upgraded from alpha3 on a
laptop[1]. I won't make too many comments about the changes to KDE,
except to say that I switched the KDE menu back to classic style after
only a few minutes of testing.

This looks exactly the same as the problem I, and at least one other
person, have when trying to install it on a Parallels virtual machine.

The bug report in that case (#202605) was originally reported as a
failure of alpha3 to install where it locked up and, in my case,
occupied 100% CPU time of one processor of my SMP machine.

[0] Why it's showing the kernel is tainted, I have no idea. The
screenshot in bug #202605 shows the same with an untainted kernel.

[1] Anyone using a DVD built using makeSUSEdvd will possibly find it
fails to work. For some reason, the DVD install failed to initialise the
catalogues and I had to resort to using CDs instead :|
