This confirms that a reboot is a) superfluous and b) useless when using
Linux ;-) (OK, kernel updates are an exception.)

I proved to launch ivman (/usr/bin/ivman-launch), and I got after
inserting a data dvd:
manager.c:1357 (do_startup_configure) Directory /home/jerbes/.ivman/
will be used for configuration files.
