Acording to bugzilla bug #218122, comments #18 and #19, it should be using
the device mapper now. :-?

Plus, as already reported, if I use the plain old ide driver, as
instructed by the pop up message ("hwprobe=-modules.pata"), then I bump
into bug #305095: "CD-Installation fails when partitions >15 are involved"

Ie, the installation program keeps asking for CD1, which does not exist as
I'm using DVD install.

This is what is reported in #309070. I can agree I wrote a duplicate bug,
but not an invalid one.
