I have not libfluidsynth_plugin installed on my system:


marco@linux-turion64:~> ls -l /usr/lib64/vlc/plugins/codec/|grep
libfluidsynth
marco@linux-turion64:~>

Similar to this package I have installed just this onerpm -qa|grep
fluidsynth
libfluidsynth1-1.1.6-3.1.1.x86_64:
