If you still thinking of a solution for what they can get, why not give
them access to SUSE Linux Enterprise for free? I mean, You can download
a trial version of SLE or create your own with SUSE Studio, but you have
to pay for support and updates. Why not talking to Novell, and ask
their, for giving our contributors access to the SLE-update-repos and
support channels for one year or so?
It has no shipping costs (because everybody can download SLED or SLES)
and they get something "(open)SUSE-alike".
Of course, a "contributor-wall" would be great! A virtual wall (also
known as a website....) for all the contributors with links to their
blogs, what they´ve done for the project, and to their openSUSE-profile.
