Do you want gcc with optimizations or whitout them? From my past experience
with Gentoo, optimizations applied to gcc can result in errors. I will
experiment as much as I can with this after Andreas Girardet will setup the
build server and create me an account.

This will be very hard to do. At least for the moment. We need more packagers
and testers with enough free time. Of course we can do build scripts but if
we don't give enough time for testing the results the release can be
unstable. I'm not employed anywhere so I have a lot of free time and if we
will find some beta testers I will be happy to work twice harder and faster.

I won't do this very soon as I want to be more involved in building packages.
My idea is to create a 1CD version (like SLICK) with optimizations and
another version that will include all packages provided by SUSE and maybe
more.
