I have come to the conclusion that my bios is a bit screwy. It has two
(surprisingly clearly) labelled options for USB Keyboard and USB
mouse. However if I enable USB keyboard, the machine does not boot,
that is, it never actually gets to point of booting and hangs during
power on test.

With or without the devices actually plugged in.

Yes they both work, but they are using the same language. My wish is
to have two keyboards, each configured with its correct layout, if
possible.
