I'm trying to install beta3 on a PII 400MHz with 256Mb RAM. I boot off CD1. If I specify manual=1, the installation procedure is unable to detect the harddisk, even if doing an "fdisk /dev/hda" in another tty works just fine. If instead I choose just Installation, then abort (to revert to manual install) as soon as I can, it works fine. I'll be trying beta4 in a while.
