Or write the maintainer directly, if one is listed for the package... One time, I think on 9.0, a freshly uploaded packman rpm installed correctly but didn't run. I studied the situation for maybe ten minutes and determined that a small file was missing. I e-mailed the maintainer and got a response back about an hour later informing me the repaired rpm had been uploaded. Sure enough, I installed it and the problem had been resolved.
