SINGLE CLICK install??...yeah i have read about the Klick
which SuSE is trying out.Thats an amazing thing.
when licking on a rpm file, you are warned if you wan Yast
to install it and answer yaes and it's done
What about un-installation?...it is not easy to
un-install a package becoz of the dependency problem.
iy's very easy to uninstall. go on yast (and there is only
one Yast package management, not one for install and one for
unistall as Mandrake), find your programm click to have
trashcan as an icon and voilà... usually better unistalled
than Windows and never break system.
is easy!....and just think over...thats what Windows is
doing!...
I think you misunderstood what windows is doing. windows is
using the same library name for most library version, so
nobody knows what one is used and they are not compatible.
Linux uses specific names for any particular lib.
this makes the hard drive bigger, but prevent a pps from not
working.
the administrator menu items should not be displayed
while a normal user has logged in which would increase
the security even more!
not at all. passwd is required for they use.
it could be an idea,
* root (the linux administrator is nearly never used as
graphical, so don't need menus :-)
* the menu install system could use the members of the admin
group to give them special menu entries.
