For french readers only (for the moment), sorry :-(. I've set up a page:
http://fr.opensuse.org/Discuter:Avoir_de_l'aide_payante_pour_ALB to discuss a fondamental problem. In short: I will setup in the fr wiki (and why not a 'en' translation) a course to train users to be an "baby linux administrator". this course exists already for SUSE 9.0, and I will adapt it to 10.x the problem is that: * the course itself is completely free * if any user asks for detailed and consistent help all along the 3+ month of the work, I think normal to ask for money. * even more I invite all the power users to do the same. that is the article page linked here will list all the people ready to do so (help for money). I don't know is anybody will ask to pay :-), I think most individuals wont, but may be some groups could be interested. Anyway, if you work hard enough, the course needs very little help. A single helper could manage easily 50 students at the same time and still make this as second work. A payment of $50 for the duration of course seems to me realistic. but may we allow such kind of advertisement on our wiki? I think we should, but may be have common guidelines. thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
