As you (not jdd ...) wrote it, this is YOUR OWN experience! Let the freedom to
others, to experience something else!

Please consider people like me who own an old notebook celeron 500 Mhz with 128
Mb Ram (and doesn't have any chance in the near future to have 2000$ to spend
in a core-duo one !

Be assured that windowmaker or, more friendly and still lightweight, XFce4 works
so well you forget that your notebook is so old!

One must be st...d to only consider gnome or kde! At least, I see some openness
and freedom disepeare with such thoughts!
