Hello :-)
Do you know if there is a problem/bug in 10.0 with USB hard
drives?

I have strange problems - I can't write to it.

for example, a cp -av gives suche things:

`/home/jdd/Documents/ati/ati-5' -> `./Documents/ati/ati-5'
`/home/jdd/Documents/ati/ati-6' -> `./Documents/ati/ati-6'
`/home/jdd/Documents/ati/ati-7' -> `./Documents/ati/ati-7'
`/home/jdd/Documents/ati/check.sh' -> `./Documents/ati/check.sh'
`/home/jdd/Documents/ati/fglrx_6_8_0_SUSE100-8.23.7-1.i386.rpm'
-> `./Documents/ati/fglrx_6_8_0_SUSE100-8.23.7-1.i386.rpm'
cp: écriture de
`./Documents/ati/fglrx_6_8_0_SUSE100-8.23.7-1.i386.rpm':
Erreur d'entrée/sortie
`/home/jdd/Documents/ati/ati-driver-installer-8.23.7-i386.run'
-> `./Documents/ati

and then:

chiers accessible en lecture seulement
`/home/jdd/Documents/ati/ati-3.jpg' ->
`./Documents/ati/ati-3.jpg'
c

file system is ext3

I tried with and without "sync", this is without.

I tried also to trigger the "don't mount" in hal, but when I
connect the disk, konqueror launches, what seems to mean the
disk is mounted.

note that the copy _from_ the usb disk to linux is extremely
fast...

thanks
jdd
