It is only a status update. Nothing new has been decided about forums.
The outcome of all the endless threads was that the opensuse project
was going to technically evaluate forums, to be prepared if a decision
to have a forum was made.
I fail to see how this can be judged unfair process.
I will grant you that it looks like it is moving towards forums rather
than away, but just because it is not in the direction you want,
doesn't mean it is unfair.
