One adidtional info: I see that X is using between 9 and 20% CPU time when rsync runs. Even if I don't do anything!
When I kill rsync, X falls back to about 0.3% CPU load. When I heavily use the mouse, it goes up to about 2~3%. That's quite strange, isn't it? cu, Frank -- Dipl.-Inform.
