Since we are now on the opensuse list the subject line has grown with at least five positions from the SLE time. I am working on a 16" screen with screensize 800x600. Higher screensizes are given me problems with the readability (must be my age ;) )Next to the Kmail and for that matter next to practically every program I want to see Gkrellm in order to keep track of the activities of my computer and connections. With a PII running 10.1 and 9.3, KDE, keeping track of CPU en memory usage is quite important. The screen size used left me enough space on Kmail to show me subject sender date and size. With the subject(status) colum now bloated with opensuse sometimes followed by Re:SLE, the real subject is seldom visible when I keep the overview showing all four categories. Leaving size out is one solution but it is a valuable indicator about bloat. As we seem to be still in the beginning of the change over, couldn't we reduce the opensuse to something like OSe for opensuse English OSd for the German list and OSO for the OT list? That would at least unscramble the subject line and let me fully utilize the screen size of choice.
