Yes, provided that one is detected in time. Stuff like this

So Novell is really asking the community to believe in their
capability to detect violations. Plus, we'd have to believe
in their good intent in the subject. 'Good will' deals are 
something MS has historically been very good at - but sooner 
or later you will get stabbed in the back.
