There are no errors; it just starts to load, then crashes (I use 
command line "startx gnome --" to better see the output). Kde works fine.

There are no errors in .X.err, not in any other log I can think of.

I tried on a user that had never used gnome before, and it crashed as 
well; .X.err contains this:

Previously, I noticed that it complained of no speedo module, so I 
dissabled it from the config. Enabling it I see:

Otherwise, it crashes the same way as above. But I don't think it is a X 
error, as kde works fine.
