It looks you can use either smart or YUM
For smart:
smart channel --add
http://software.opensuse.org/download/KDE:/KDE3/SUSE_Linux_10.0/KDE:KDE3.repo
For YUM:
Copy
http://software.opensuse.org/download/KDE:/KDE3/SUSE_Linux_10.0/KDE:KDE3.repo
to
/etc/yum.repos.d/
