Ysgrifennodd Darryl Gregorash:
Add it as an installation source in Yast; then use the Yast
"Install/Remove Software" module. Don't bother about all that smart
nonsense, Yast is your friend :-)
Well, I've installed kdemultimedia3-sound-3.5.5-28.2.x86_64.rpm as
suggested, but it hasn't made any difference:
linux:/etc/yum.repos.d # rpm -qa | grep multimedia
kdemultimedia3-video-3.4.2-10
kdemultimedia3-sound-3.5.5-28.2
kdemultimedia3-mixer-3.4.2-11.pm.0
kdemultimedia3-CD-3.4.2-11.pm.0
kdemultimedia3-3.4.2-10
and KsCD is version 1.5
Looks like I'm going to have to look out the screwdriver, doesn't it?
What should I look for in the guts of my box? Will I have to buy
anything (like some kind of cable or something) before I start?
