but Knetwormanager doesn't hand very well WEP or WPA connections while if-up 
had no trouble.

I have a USR Wireless PCMCIA and i'm using it with ndiswrapper. if-up work 
with WEP and WPA, but Knetworkmanager tell it support this settings, but 
isn't able to get up the connection. So i'm using if-up
