Hello all, I am having a bit of trouble getting sonypi working on my sony vaio SZ3XWP/C. OpenSuSe loaded fine and I was able to without any problems. However, I am having problems getting sonypi loaded.
>From the documentation on the web, sonypi driver module is supposed to included with all kernels after 2.4.7. However when I type /sbin/modprobe sonypi, I get a fatal error message. There is no entry for sonypi in /dev/. Would anyone be able to tell me how to load the sonypi driver module in OpenSuse 10.2 please? cheers JT -- --------------------------------------------------- Janendra Telisinghe Southwell Laboratory Department of Engineering Science Oxford University Parks Road Oxford OX1 3PJ Telephone :- 01865 288732 e-mail :- [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------------------------------------- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
