two different things:
one
yast shouldn't accept (without warning) two duplicate source (two
sources of the same index? or same final name?) as they may be not in
sync.
in other worlds, there should not be two theorically indentical
mirrors in the list
second
the update directory is directly related to one source directory and
should be bind to him, why not setup in one movement (adding source
add also update), at least for the official repository
